The Campbell – located in Grand Central Terminal at 15 Vanderbilt Avenue, just off 43rd Street - is an iconic New York institution, thoughtfully restored to its original grandeur by Gerber Group. The restoration, directed by internationally renowned design firm Ingrao Inc., maintains the integrity of the property’s historic architecture while introducing contemporary design elements, which together create a refined yet approachable atmosphere.
The Campbell provides three unique experiences: The Campbell Bar, the timeless office thoughtfully curated with updated quartzite accents, bold brass finishes and custom wood, mohair and leather furnishings in rich hunter green, midnight blue and red tones; The Campbell Palm Court, an indoor oasis and lounge surrounded by towering palm trees with a view into the main terminal; and The Campbell Terrace, a sweeping outdoor covered veranda complete with a full bar.
Gerber Group’s selection of classic and modern cocktails, that highlight fresh ingredients, wines and locally brewed craft beers, are complemented by a menu of elevated bar fare and lunch specialties, including small plates, soups, salads and sandwiches.
It is famous as the historical place and by the "Gossip Girl" the American teen drama television series.

"We were staying nearby, so stopped in for a cocktail after a show. Loved the interior, teamed with a dark and intimate atmosphere that gave a sense of privacy, despite the fact we were seated at the bar. The cocktails were good - so much so that one turned into a second. They are pricey, but very good drinks and an enjoyable environment to be in, with the added history. The staff were pleasantly attentive without being overbearing. A nice spot."
"Nestled in a really out-of-the-way corner and up a steep staircase of Grand Central Terminal (GCT) in New York, the Campbell Apartment (aka Campbell Bar) is a beautifully renovated, quiet and oddly intimate space in the middle of the busiest transit hubs in the world. It's a find - and a great place to find some peace and composure in the hustle and bustle of GCT. There are lots of dining options in GCT and the Oyster Bar and Cipriani's are must-dos. However, even they are beehives of activity compared to the solace and darkness of the Campbell Apartment. There's a limited food menu (probably the result of the smallest kitchen in the industry - look right at the receptionist/check in desk), but some really nice cocktails and a decent wine list."
